It is industrial pure aluminum and is the series with the highest aluminum content, with an aluminum content of not less than 99.00%. It has good elongation, tensile strength, plasticity and corrosion resistance. The production process is relatively simple, the production technology is relatively mature, and the price has huge advantages, but the strength is low and it is easy to deform under pressure. Representative grades include 1050, 1060, 1100, 1200, etc. Among them, the aluminum content of 1050 reaches 99.5%, and the aluminum content of 1060 aluminum plate reaches more than 99.6%.
This grade is primarily used for products requiring less-than-high strength, such as signs, billboards, wall decorations, kitchenware, chemical equipment, and electronic components. It is a commonly used grade in conventional industries, with 1100, 1050, and 1060 series aluminum sheet being the most commonly used in the architectural decoration industry.

- Strengthenable：1-series aluminum sheet can be cold worked to increase its strength by more than double.
- Easy to process：1-series aluminum sheet has excellent plasticity, making it ideal for machining processes such as sawing, shearing, milling, boring, planing, and turning.
- Corrosion resistance： Unprocessed 1-series aluminum sheet naturally forms a dense, indestructible aluminum oxide film on its surface, making it highly resistant to atmospheric (including industrial and marine) and water corrosion.
- No low-temperature brittleness：1-series aluminum sheet's strength and plasticity are not affected by temperature drops. Below zero degrees Celsius, the lower the temperature, the higher the strength and plasticity.
- Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity： Among metals, aluminum's electrical and thermal conductivity is second only to gold, silver, and copper.
- Excellent reflectivity：After polishing, the surface reflectivity of 1-series aluminum sheet can reach over 80%. The higher the purity of the aluminum, the higher the reflectivity. In addition to visible light, aluminum also has excellent reflectivity for infrared, ultraviolet, electromagnetic waves, thermal radiation, and other radiation.
- Non-magnetic and spark-free： Aluminum is non-magnetic and does not produce sparks from friction or collision. It is a prime container for flammable liquids, gases, and chemicals.

I recently ordered some anodized material that does not match the same material with the same finish that I ordered previously. Why is that?
There are many variables that may lead to color inconsistencies in anodized finishes.
Any variation in alloy or temper of aluminum being finished can result in color variation. For example, an aluminum bar run at one mill may anodize differently than the same bar run at another mill due to only a very small difference in magnesium content.
In addition, length of time spent in the anodizing "bath" can affect the final color.
Our finishers are cognizant of these factors, and continually monitor their systems to maintain the best possible color consistency from batch-to-batch and order-to-order.
